Philanthropic Advisor, Researcher, and Educator

I’m a global philanthropic advisor, researcher, and educator who has spent my career helping people and organizations give with purpose. Since earning my Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation in 2016, I’ve worked alongside individuals, couples, and family foundations to think strategically about their giving and the impact they want to create.

Teaching has always been an important part of my work. As a nonprofit management educator and member of the Global Philanthropy Advisory Group with the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP), I love sharing knowledge and opening doors for others in this field. I’ve also had the privilege of curating the Women in Philanthropy podcast and contributing to the work of organizations including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Social Venture Partners, Trico Charitable Foundation, Philanthropic Foundations Canada, and the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good.

At the heart of it all, I care deeply about connecting research, practice, and people so that philanthropy can be both thoughtful and transformative.
